upon first glance the
Monteverdi TV Sports 825 is your everyday, stand-alone pong unit. but take a closer look and you'll see that it also features a Gun Peripheral. you'll find everything you expect from a good pong system (Practice Mode, Hockey Mode, Tennis Mode and Squash) plus two new modes (Straight Line Target and Moving Target) for use with the gun.

at first we had a pretty difficult time getting the gun to pick up on the target, scott mentioned that "its probably just so old... it just doesn't work anymore." but after turning off all the lights and stripping the gun of all its attachments, (the gun itself looks like some sort of handgun, but it comes with attachments to turn into a rifle) we had a working light-gun. in both modes you're given 15 bullets. unfortunately, we were unable to get the gun with the rifle attachment to work. there are plenty more unboxing pictures of the Monteverdi TV Sports 825 over on
the official robot gamer BubbleShare Account.

Matt, funny you posted this on my birthday. I just got a Monteverdi 825 as a late present and I can't get it to work.
I plugged in the AC adapter and nothing......does it also need the batteries? I'd hate to track down a pack of "C"s only to find it still not work.
i'm pretty sure that we didn't have batteries in ours, and just used the ac adapter.
It just so happens that I have one of these in the original box and in brand new condition! Mine has never been used! I am interested in selling this console. If anyone is looking to buy one and would like to find out more, please let me know.
